Special Tahitian Process Respects the Time-Honoured & Traditional
Methods Used in Tahiti for over 2,000 Years
ll of our
Noni fruits are organically grown and hand picked during a very special period of
time which is a very important and age old tradition of the
Tahitian Medicinal Men. The fruits have to be picked
in their 100% yellow-ripe stage which is called 'Omoto'.
The fruits are then cleaned in special 400 pound cleaning tanks
before they are laid out on a row of grills and dried in the
shade.
Next they are placed into 20,000 pound tanks and left for a period
of three to four weeks for the process of maceration (to
become soft or separated into constituents by soaking ) to take place.
During
this time they are constantly monitored and controlled by
our production technicians and samples are checked daily in our laboratories.
During this three to four weeks of this maceration process the Noni fruits naturally produce
20% to 25% pure Noni fruit juice. There is no crushing or slicing
or pressing
of the Noni fruits as our juice extraction process is by pure maceration alone which sets our
production process apart from all
of the 'cold pressed' and 'rolled' juice extraction processes.
Our special Company only know how process is then used
to separate off the juice before it is filtered through a 10 micron filtration system
to produced the finished premium grade 100% pure and organic
Noni Juice.
Finally, during the bottling process, it is pasteurised at
181 degrees Fahrenheit which is the standard process of
pasteurisation and is fully approved by the FDA.
After the juice has been bottled it then has a twenty-four month shelf
life when stored at normal room temperatures of between 15
and 25 degrees
Celsius.
